Each VRC Receives Individual Training
The primary goal of the VRC project is to establish
the collaborative model created at Butte College in Spring 2008 on
campuses in the California Community College (CCC) system. A total
of twenty-four colleges, fifteen pilot sites and nine auxiliary
sites, have received training on the three central components of
the VRC project: academics, camaraderie, and wellness. In addition
to interactive presentations and resource materials, these two-day
trainings offered direct experience with a range of assistive
technology tools donated by organizations.
Myra Lerch gives Grossmont the final VRC training in February
2011.

Further down on this page are all of the documents that are
distributed during the VRC training. A grateful thank-you to
the authors (Myra Lerch and Gaeir Dietrich) for allowing the
inclusion of these documents.
