Dan Torres discusses Veterans Services at Butte College
When I met Dan Torres, it was clear from the start
that I was speaking with someone who cared more about the VRC and
the Veterans that called it home, than he did about anything else
(except maybe that new baby that arrived this spring). It was
their VRC and they were his Veterans. It took about five
seconds to see why the Butte College VRC was the model for the
entire state.
Stan Bass was not exactly what I would have expected in a
Veterans Club President at first blush. But after
spending the afternoon at Butte, it all made perfect sense.
Of course, I did have beard envy.
