CCC counselor transfer website

The Transfer Counselor Website (TCW), funded by a grant from the CCC Chancellor's Office, is a well-crafted and up-to-date website designed for California community college transfer counselors by California community college (CCC) transfer counselors. The purpose of the TCW is to support the efforts of transfer counselors across the CCC system.

Chancellor's Office DSPS Report to the Governor

This report is written in response to Education Code section 67312(b), which requires the board of governors to report every two years to the Governor, the education policy committees of the Legislature, and the California Postsecondary Education Commission on its system for evaluating "state-funded programs and services for disabled students on each campus at least every five years." Education Code section 67312(a)(4) states, "At a minimum, these systems shall provide for the gathering of outcome data, staff and student perceptions of program effectiveness, and data on the implementation of the program and physical accessibility requirements of Section 794 of Title 29 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973." Chancellor's Office Task Force on Student Success

On September 28, 2010, Senate Bill 1143 (Liu) was chaptered into law. This legislation, effective January 1, 2011, requires the Board of Governors to establish a task force to examine best practices for promoting student success and adopt a plan for improving student success within the California Community Colleges.
